Keep Mice Out of Your Cabinets
Mice can become a major problem in your home during any part of the year, but the fall and winter months are especially active when it comes to rodents. So why do mice and other nasty rodents enter your home in the winter? Well, it's for the exact same we all come inside this season; to get out of the cold! Rodents begin trying to find a warm place to live in the fal as the temperatures are dropping, but living in Tennessee, we don't usually experience the temperature drop needed to drive them inside until late November or early December. These rodents aren't just trying to get themselves out of the cold though. They are trying to find a nice warm place to raise a family!
Here are some different things you can do to help prevent your home from becoming infested:
Seal all cracks and crevices around your home and in the foundation
Put weather stripping on the bottom of your garage door
Seal holes and cracks around windows and doors
Clean up crumbs and food messes immediately
Store food in airtight containers
Store pet food in airtight containers
